training to be the best you can be

I believe in evolving a partnership with the horse, allowing him to naturally develop and learn. Each horse is treated as an individual, progressing at the speed that suits them and adapting training programs accordingly.
I really enjoy my coaching, helping riders of all levels. It gives me great satisfaction to see people and horses, improve and develop. I have coached nervous novice riders, to experienced competition riders and everything in between!
I am very aware of the different learning styles riders may have, so I am able to accommodate these using a variety of techniques including demonstration, explanation and visualisation. I also aim to keep the training sessions fun, whilst ensuring the basic fundamentals are always adhered to.

I am registered and fully insured with the BHS, gaining my BHSI in 2007.
I take horses in for schooling, designed for a short stay of intensive training. I can help to iron out problems, to educate or to continue their training whilst the owner is away. A pre-season or pre-competition tune up can often be very useful; especially if work, or other commitments effect the rider's own preparations!

I am very happy to compete horses for their owners, or take a horse on competition livery. As I run a small set up, the horse can be given all the attention he requires and not just become a number!!! Owners are kept fully informed and can be as involved as they want to be. The horse's needs and future programme will be discussed and continually evaluated, with the owners receiving regular updates.
